Melati and I recorded 3 full length albums this year (two of which are yet to be released).
We become so absorbed in finding, sharing and recording music over this period that almost everything else in our lives fell to relative pieces (which in hindsight, was a lovely thing).
As it was all coming back into orbit -and whilst making this mix- I was thinking a lot about my relationship to music… how deeply entrenched that love is against all rational thought within a world gone mad… and of course how an obsession can somehow, slowly and without you knowing, turn into what the Okinawan’s might call your Ikigai." ~ Young Magic
